Medical Emergencies in the Dental Office will help dental providers learn how to avoid, prepare, and handle medical emergencies in the day-to-day environment of the dental office. It will review basic medical history and physical examination, and will also review management of common medical emergencies in the dental office.

About Dr. Khalil:
Dr. Adel Khalil attained his undergrad degree in Biology from Oakland University, Rochester Hills, MI. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in Detroit, MI. He then obtained his Doctor of Medicine at Wayne State University, Detroit, MI. He completed a 4-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at St. John Providence Health System in the Metro Detroit Area. Dr. Khalil has received several academic awards during his training. He was selected for fellowship in the American College of Dentists. He was the president of the Berkeley Dental Society and served almost 7 years on the dental board. Dr. Khalil has a private practice in Berkeley, CA in which he has been working full time for the past 10 years.
